Well, Infidelities (or, if you wish, Infidelites), it's been a while since you heard from us. We performed our two outdoor concerts in May (Rittenhouse Square and Italian Market) and locked ourselves away in the studio to record our EP. Pete did an incredible job on the traps (drums) and then moved to New York City to seek his fate. Out of this drummer-less void came Patrick Crowling, late of Richmond, Virginia's Pop Culture Casualties, with tons of rhythm, cred and energy. We couldn't be happier and more excited! Dear readers and listeners, The Beloved Infidels are now a trio, more personal, more pop, more fun than ever. Keep a watch out for the release of the five song EP and the debut of Patrick at our next show.

Saints preserve us!! After months of trials and tribulations (and about 24 auditions), we have found the perfect 6 string foil to Jackie's music and lyrics, Pete's percussive stylings and Jim's big bottom (hey, it's not that big!) in the form of one Daniel Nogueira. Extremely fresh off the jet from his home in Brazil, he brings considerable talents that will well-serve The Beloved Infidels. And with two upcoming open air concerts in May, not a bit too soon we may add. Look for his debut and the newly reconstituted Infidels at a club or festival near you! Bom Dia & Obrigado, Daniel.

Thanks to all who came out for our first show (1/6/2006) of the New Year at The M Room. We are taking off for the rest of the Winter to prepare for recording our first LP/CD at our new studio, Studio1006. In addition to hunkering down in our very own digital Valhalla, Blake and Yael Lehmann of 10gev records band Happy Accident (please check them out) have super-kindly offered to record us in the Analogue Domain of their Philadelphia studio, Owl and Shark. How cool is that?! Seems us Infidels have not seen our Analogerdamerung yet. And just wait; our Spring 2006 show schedule will be finalized shortly. Be seeing you!

Thanks to all who came out last night to our first show on the hallowed stage of The Khyber on 2nd Street. We hope you all had as much fun as we did entertaining you wonderful folks! Just a quick note that we have been invited back to our old haunt, The M Room (formerly known as The Manhattan Room), on East Girard Avenue in Fishtown to headline on Friday January 6, 2006. At this juncture we are sharing the stage with Billy Matheny from Morgantown, West Virginia, and Milkshake Jones, our neighbors from Harrisburg. So, come all ye well-rested gentlepeople to your first Friday bash of 2006, revisit your hangover from the previous weekend, and help us set the standard for original power pop in this City of Brotherly Love.

Just got confirmed! We'll be rockin' Old City Tuesday, December 13th at the (in)famous Khyber. Lucky for the working stiffs, we go on first, about 9 PM followed by The Bamboo Shoots and Minneapolis's Mark Mallman, the Guiness Book of World Record's holder for the longest song at 26.2 hours! Don't think he's doing that one that night, though. Join us for some pre-holiday cheer, music and fun with new additions to our repertoire.

In support of CHOICE, an advocacy group providing community healthcare counseling and education, we have donated a live show by yours truly! A winning bid at their Silent Auction on November 16th at The Ritz-Carlton on beeyooteefull Broad Street will get you a live set of The Beloved Infidels right in your own home or yard or anywhere else you want us to play! We guarantee that people will talk about your party for decades to come. For more info, call CHOICE at 215-985-3355 or check www.choice-phila.org to get yourselves an invite. They've got lots of other nifty prizes, a few Infidels will be in attendance and it's a great cause.

Here we go: kicking off what will hopefully be a great Fall/Winter concert tour in our very own back (and front) yard, we are the opening band on October 26th at The Grape Street Pub's Wednesday night Showcase. The Grape is located at 4100 Main Street, Manayunk, Philadelphia, the show starts at 8:00 PM and the price is nice at $5.00. We are not sure of the other bands (check the Grape's website in the next week or two), but there are usually good acts at the Grape. Tell them we sent you, please. The best sound in town, and...it's Jackie (our frontperson's) birthday. Old and new friends come and freak Jackie out by singing to her Happy Birthday!
